HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY SESSION?
Preparing for your session is a lot easier than you would think, every client also receives a copy of the Prep Guide. We are never going to ask you to drastically change yourself, no crash dieting or extreme makeovers. We still want you to come as who you are! Fake tanning or spray tanning is usually a big no, no though.
I'M NOT CONFIDENT IN MYSELF. ARE YOU SURE I CAN DO THIS?
YOU are the girl who NEEDS to do this! It's a huge misconception that our clients are confident and not nervous when they book, when really it's the total opposite! Most clients book a session because they want to regain a piece of feminine power they feel they've lost; their confidence! Our goal is to help you get it back!
WILL I DO MY OWN HAIR AND MAKEUP FOR MY SESSION?
We highly recommend our top package which includes a professional hair and makeup service on top of many other cool things. We love pampering you from start to finish which will help you look and feel the best for your session. It is not a requirement though. Some women don't feel comfortable wearing bold makeup and that's totally fine! Our priority is your comfort.
I NEED MY PORTRAITS BY A CERTAIN DATE, HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO COME IN FOR MY SESSION?
If your session is on a time time frame please let us know as soon as possible. We recommend your session to happen 4-5 weeks in advance if you are on a time frame. We will do the best we can to accommodate your needs.
I DON'T HAVE ANY LINGERIE, WHAT DO I DO?
Lingerie is not a make or break for your session. Think outside of the box and bring jean or leather jacket, a button up shirt, a vintage fur coat, sexy shorts, crop tops etc. We provide some cool accessories like BDSM leather masks, handcuffs, bondages, body chains, nipple stickers, glitter, mash, ringstone bodysuits and more. Bring a proper fitting bra if you have one (this is a great time to get fitted) and two styles of panties, black and nude in colour for your session. Other than that, I am happy to get creative with you and come up with new outfit ideas together.

I DON'T WANT MY IMAGES SHARED, DO I HAVE TO?
You never have to share your image anywhere, all of the images you see online, in my portfolio, on social media are shared after clients have given permission in order to do so. Your session can be kept as private or as public as you choose.
CAN YOU EDIT MY [INSERT INSECURITY HERE]?
Something that becomes a touchy subject is whether or not a photographer chooses to "photoshop" their clients. Without going into a huge amount of detail, here is a simple breakdown of the editing process we use for every single client.

Non-permanent skin issues. Photoshop can be used to minimize the look of bruises, acne, scratches, etc. Scars and birthmarks are left alone unless specifically asked to be removed by the client.

Wardrobe malfunctions. If your bra is a tad too tight on your shoulder and "pinches" the skin, or a tag is showing on the back of your lingerie, this can usually be fixed in post processing. During your shoot, we'll pay super close attention to details and typically catch these issues so we don't have to spend extra time editing them.

Skin smoothing. We want your photos to accentuate the best you, and for this reason each client does receive light skin smoothing to reduce redness and even out skin tone. Tan lines can be difficult to fix without making the skin look doctored, and are typically left unedited. Check out examples of my basic and extensive skin retouching. It takes about an hour per image to make it look perfect without the plastic look. I have been mastering my photoshop skills since 2004, years before becoming a photographer. I don't use a one click method on any pictures, each image is crafted by hand. Extra charges might be applied for extensive retouching in rare cases.
DO YOU EVER SHOOT LIGHT AND AIRY? YOUR PORTFOLIO IS MOODY.
I'm specializing in low light imagery, it's my favourite style for boudoir! I can shoot both though, especially if it's a bridal boudoir. We'll discuss all your needs before the shoot. This client on the right loved her Tango boudoir experience so much that she came back weeks later! Same client, same studio, 3 weeks apart, totally different vibe!
